Denise hit the speaking circuit full-time in 1997. AIG Life of Canada, Assante Advisory Services, Buffett-Taylor, Canadian Tire, Canada Revenue Agency, Deloitte & Touche, Grand & Toy, Industry Canada, TD Canada Trust, Toyota, and RBC Royal Bank, are among the many corporations and professional groups that have hired Denise to speak at their events.

In June, 2001, Denise was awarded the Toastmasters International Accredited Speaker Award for Professionalism and Outstanding Achievement in Public Speaking. Denise was the first woman in Ontario to have ever received this honor; only 54 individuals worldwide have received the Accredited Speaker designation.
