Krista performs anywhere from a duo to a full band with horns or solo to backing tracks. During a solo/tracks show Krista saunters through the ballroom with a wireless microphone belting out dramatic Torch Songs and Jazz standards. This personable performance lets all your guests feel like they are sitting even closer than the front row of a concert. Performance can be up to one hour in length.

Krista has performed as a jazz vocalist at The Starlight Children's Foundation Charity Ball, The Southside Shuffle - New Orleans Gala, The Port Credit Jazz & Blues Festival, The Waterside Inn - New Years Eve 2006, The Sheraton Hotel in Richmond Hill, The Carlu and various supper clubs in the Greater Toronto area.

The musical term Legato meaning "smooth and connected" is the perfect description for the classy and versatile duo featuring lead vocalist Krista Blondin and pianist/vocalist Cheryl Dickson-Neal.

Since their formation in the summer of 2005, Legato has performed at events for Meeting Planners International, The Industrial Accident Prevention Association, Mississauga's Progressive Conservative Party, The Port Credit BIA, Ontario's Woodbine Casino, The Port Credit Yacht Club, The Southside Shuffle Jazz & Blues Festival, cocktail receptions and fine dining establishments including the Liberty Group's Rosewater Supper Club in Toronto, Port Credit's Waterside Inn and the ever popular Michael's Back Door Restaurant in Mississauga.

While highlighting the smooth sounds of Pop, Jazz, Rock and Roll, Broadway and R&B favorites, their collaboration brings beautiful vocal harmonies and a passion for performing music that captivates their audiences time and time again!

Hamilton-based Pianist Cheryl Dickson-Neal has been entertaining live since 1987. Her natural musical gift is enhanced by ten years of Royal Conservatory training, a Bachelors Degree in Music (Honours Program) from McMaster University and an Honours Diploma in Commercial/Jazz Piano Performance from Mohawk College. Cheryl has performed at numerous weddings, corporate functions, private parties, festivals and theatrical shows and continues to be a favorite at the Sheraton Hotel in Hamilton where she has been performing for over ten years.

Krista Blondin's versatile vocals and lively stage presence has been enjoyed by audiences across the GTA and its surroundings for over a decade. Her various musical acts have been the highlight of corporate galas, elegant supper clubs, casinos, dance clubs and festivals as large as The Canadian National Exhibition. Krista's singing abilities are complimented by a strong passion for the logistics involved in providing quality entertainment. Her formal education includes a high honors Media Arts diploma from Sheridan College where she studied public relations, media planning, sound, news gathering, producing and directing. Krista spent four years working behind the scenes at CBC Television before pursuing her professional career in music.
