Testimonials

Spending an evening with stand-up Stewart Francis is like watching a Zucker Brothers movie - you’ll want to see him over and over again to catch the jokes you missed because you were laughing so hard. Shunning the loquacious set-ups of most stand-ups, Francis takes a sharp razor to his humour, the result of which is spare, savvy and flawlessly timed banter that cuts directly to the funny bone.

–The Toronto Star

The highlight of the evening was Stewart Francis from Canada. He had the audience in stitches, just waiting in anticipation for his next one-liner. It’s called deadpan comedy and this dude is drier than a Manhattan martini.

–Smirnoff Comedy Festival, Cape Town

It's rare to be left with such a sense of admiration for a comedian's writing talents, but imagine the editing and honing needed to produce such deceptively simple, hilarious material.

–Edinburgh Evening News

This handsome stand-up cracks some of the best one-liners I’ve ever heard, and his happy-go-lucky stage persona is a fine foil for a quirky left-field mind  ... a brilliant comic brain.

–The Guardian

Stewart Francis is a hoot, with the best Sean Connery impression anywhere.

–The Toronto Sun

Stewart Francis delivers the laughs.
